Meet Erin

Erin's Granola began when food writer and recipe developer Erin Simpson Lozier decided she wanted to make a granola that was not so sweet and sugary for her kids. She created her signature Virginia Maple variety with healthful ingredients like whole grain oats, pecans, millet, pumpkin seeds, olive oil and a just-right amount of pure maple syrup. The result was a hit with her kids, friends and neighbors. It quickly became a mainstay in kitchens around the greater Charlotte, NC area and beyond. From there Erin tapped into her roots researching Southern culinary history and ingredients to create a slew of uniquely Southern, enticing and welcoming flavors that celebrated both eating well and feeling good.

Erin is a former food editor for Better Homes and Gardens magazine and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Johnson and Wales University's College of Culinary Arts. She has also developed recipes and written for famed James Beard Award-winning Southern cookbook author Nathalie Dupree, Forbes Travel Guide, The Charleston Post and Courier, and Washington City Paper. You can find more of her work on her blog: ErinSimpsonLozier.com

Erin's Granola continues to operate with the well-being—and happiness—of those who eat it in mind. We hope you love it and will explore all the different ways to enjoy granola.
